WORKSHOPS CANCELLED OVER CORONAVIRUS
The worsening situation with the coronavirus pandemic has forced ACUMA to cancel its 2020 Spring Workshops in Philadelphia (May 13-14) and Portland, Oregon (June 16-17).
While we are disappointed that the events will not take place as planned, the health and safety of our members is our top priority.
ACUMA has already begun working to provide alternative educational opportunities addressing the topics planned for the workshops. We also hope to hold next year’s workshops in the same cities, around the same times and in the same hotel venues.
Refunds To Be Made: All registration fees will be refunded for members who had planned to attend a workshop. Refunds will be made in the next two weeks.
Fall Conference Is Still On: Preparations are continuing for the association’s Fall Conference, planned for September 20-23 at the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. ACUMA’s biggest event brings together leading voices in the mortgage industry and about 500 credit union leaders to hear the latest on all of the hot topics and network with other mortgage lenders. More information will be available by the time registration opens in early June.
We will continue to monitor the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and share updates on how the coronavirus impacts our events.
