Jay Arneja is the Principal Product Manager for SimpleNexus. She has spent her career digitizing and redesigning the mortgage closing and post-closing processes. Early on, she worked in correspondent and wholesale lending, where she specialized in MERS administration for several organizations and ran the closing department of GreenPoint Mortgage’s highest-producing branch before the lender was purchased by Capital One. Arneja spent more than a decade leading product teams at MERSCorp directly, then consulted for Freddie Mac, where she helped high-profile lenders make improvements to their processes and customer experience.

Josh Summerfield is the Mortgage Sales Manager for Consumers Credit Union and supports members across West Michigan by leading a team of 28 mortgage loan officers. With more than 15 years in the industry, he is experienced with portfolio, rural development, FHA, construction and conventional lending. Summerfield understands that each loan is as unique as each person, a conviction that has set the foundation for his service-oriented approach to lending. Summerfield joined the Consumers CU mortgage team in 2015 as an MLO and moved into his current role in 2019. Since 2015, Consumers CU has grown mortgage lending from less than $100 million a year to more than $600 million a year. His leadership has been key in the launch of a number of unique mortgage services and products, including Consumers CU’s “0% Down, No PMI” loan, which has been widely replicated.
