Alissa Sykes Tulloch
Alissa Sykes Tulloch, Chief Experience Officer for AmeriCU, is responsible for enhancing the Rome, New York-based credit union’s retail and operational processes, member delivery channels and infrastructure to deliver outstanding programs. She works collaboratively with the Chief Leadership Team (CLT) to develop annual and long-range plans for AmeriCU and to implement changes and improvements to the current structure so they can continue to offer members a world-class experience.
Sykes Tulloch will focus on creating and executing the strategic plans related to Financial Center operations, Member Relationship & Marketing, Membership Development, AmeriCU Insurance Services and AmeriCU Investment Services. She brings 15 years of in-depth experience in the credit union field and 23 years in the financial service industry.
Prior to joining AmeriCU, Sykes Tulloch was Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Sunmark Credit Union in Latham, N.Y. After joining Sunmark in 2005, she held several roles with increasing responsibility including AVP of Consumer and Mortgage Lending, and VP and Chief Lending Officer. She has also held roles at TD Bank and Trustco Bank.
Within the credit union industry, Sykes Tulloch is recognized as an expert and leader. She regularly mentors smaller credit unions who need assistance with regulation changes, or strategies to expand impact.
Sykes Tulloch is an active member of American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) and is a sought-after speaker at regional and national conferences on topics that range from helping credit union mortgage professionals achieve success in building purchase business to fostering Realtor relationships.
Sykes Tulloch also has been a member of the Rensselaer County Housing Resources (RCHR) board for 20 years, working to improve the quality of life of Rensselaer (N.Y.) County residents by cultivating affordable housing opportunities, improving housing conditions for residents, serving as experts/facilitators on housing initiatives, and participating in community development activities that benefit residents.
Sykes Tulloch is working toward her MBA from ENEB Business School, based in Barcelona Spain.
