Leveraging Member Data and Lending Strategies to Drive Mortgage Growth

If your credit union originates less than $250M in mortgage volume each year, join us for the ACUMA Q4 Volume-Based Network Meeting on November 18 at 1 PM ET!

This is your space to connect with peers to share what’s working, talk through challenges, and swap ideas with credit unions operating at a similar scale. Bring your questions, your insights, and anything you’ve been wanting to compare notes on.

Explore how credit unions can use member data to strengthen mortgage marketing, identify cross-selling opportunities, and grow home equity lending amid higher interest rates and increased competition from banks and mortgage companies. Discuss the potential benefits and challenges of transitioning from FICO to VantageScore and moving from tri-merge to bi-merge credit reports to improve lending efficiency and manage costs.

In the session, we will discuss:

  • How can we best leverage our member data to effectively market mortgage products as well as potential cross-selling opportunities?
  • What is your credit union doing on the home equity front to compete with the mortgage companies and banks?  With very little first lien refinance opportunities and limited purchase volume due to higher rates, continued success in home equity loans isn’t a given, especially as big banks and mortgage companies push 2nd mortgages.
  • The Vantage Credit Union model is now accepted by the majority of the agencies (Fannie, Freddie, etc.).  Has your credit union researched a potential switch from FICO to Vantage?  Why or why not?  Also, what are your thoughts on moving from a tri-merge to a bi-merge credit report?

Save your spot and join the conversation!
