Kristin Messerli knows the importance of youth to the future of the mortgage business. She founded a company that helps mortgage lenders connect with today’s young and diverse population.
Messerli will share strategies to help credit unions recruit and retain young talent at the annual ACUMA Fall Conference in Las Vegas, September 24-27, 2017.
As the average age of providers in the mortgage industry continues to rise, the need for young and diverse talent becomes more apparent and increasingly scarce, Messerli notes. And as the industry experiences a shift in consumer culture and preferences, she says it’s essential that companies recruit for a workforce that reflects this shift.
In her presentation, Messerli will help participants learn practical strategies to build a strong and diverse team through recruitment and retention techniques, and gain a greater understanding of the shift in workforce culture with the next generation.
As founder of Cultural Outreach, Messerli has built a successful nationwide practice that includes training, digital marketing, analytics, and market education through numerous published articles and speeches. She is the co-author of the Mortgage Banking Association’s “Section 342 Compliance Toolkit,” and she serves as the Managing Editor for Mortgage Women Magazine, a publication for women who work in the mortgage industry.
As an ACUMA Conference speaker, Messerli joins Luke Williams, One of the world’s leading business thinkers on innovation strategy and business disruptors, as announced speakers at the annual ACUMA Conference.
The ACUMA Conference will be held at the Bellagio Resort and Casino on the colorful Las Vegas Strip. The event begins with an opening reception on Sunday night, September 24, and ends its final session about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27. The conference features a “digital” focus on new technology and disruptors to the traditional mortgage pipeline
