Pipeline Productivity: Creating Value for Members in Competitive Markets
Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 1 pm CST
Session Description
Credit unions know their members or at least understand their intentions and meet their needs in effective and economical ways. This is especially true when helping members achieve the American Dream of homeownership. Members deserve competitively priced mortgages, but maintaining the right pricing models while still serving those members is not without its challenges.
Establishing a competitive rate sheet, managing interest rate risk, and properly valuing the mortgage servicing asset are key drivers for credit unions looking to grow their mortgage origination and servicing businesses. Despite their best efforts, credit unions can benefit from expert advice and guidance to maintain the critical balance necessary for the institution’s and its members’ success.
In this ACUMA Inside Track Webinar, the capital markets experts from Optimal Blue will teach you more about the opportunities and risks of developing sound pricing and valuation policies for your credit union. Topics range from applying analytical tools and financial instruments from FNMA/FHLMC to mitigating the risk of financial loss, improving bottom-line results, and operating more successfully in competitive mortgage lending.
Attend this webinar, and you will gain insights into using business intelligence to establish competitive mortgage pricing, an understanding of hedging vehicles and their application relevance, and knowledge of how mortgage serving rights factor into competitive service and member retention.
