Speakers
Rob Chrisman
Rob Chrisman began his career in mortgage banking in 1985 with First California Mortgage, assisting in secondary marketing. In 1988 he joined Tuttle & Co., a leading mortgage pipeline risk management firm. In 1997 Chrisman managed secondary for Standard Financial before becoming president of sub-prime company OnCall Mortgage, which was purchased by Wells Fargo in 2000. He then joined CMG Mortgage, a wholesale mortgage bank, as Director of Secondary Marketing. In 2003 Chrisman re-joined Tuttle Risk Management Services. In 2008 he became Director of Capital Markets for RPM Mortgage to focus on publishing a widely read daily market commentary on current mortgage events and to spend more time with his family. Chrisman serves on the board of directors for Inheritance Funding Corporation, Doorway Home Loans, AXIS Appraisal Management and California MBA. He is a member of the Secure Settlements Advisory Board, an associate of the STRATMOR Group and an associate of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas and its membership committee. Chrisman has provided expert witness services for mortgage and real estate-related cases and has lectured to groups around the country. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from UC-Berkeley.
Tracy J. Ashfield
President, ACUMA
Tracy Ashfield is the President of the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA), an organization with which she has had close ties for 20 years. Ashfield has worked as a consultant and subject matter expert with ACUMA since 2000. In that time, working with founder and former president Bob Dorsa, she has helped the non-profit grow from a handful of members to an organization with more than 400 mortgage-lending credit union leaders. In that same time, credit unions have seen their market share grow from 2% to nearly 9%. And ACUMA is now the premiere education and networking association for credit unions that are serious about mortgage lending. During her years with the association, Ashfield has been the curator of ACUMA’s event programming, bringing relevant and timely educational content to the growing list of members. Ashfield is a well-known figure in credit unions with nearly 30 years in mortgage banking leadership roles at numerous mortgage banking firms.
