Subservicing 2.0: How to Wow Members & Reduce Costs in 120 Days
Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 1 pm CST
Session Description
Today, too many credit unions still labor under service methodologies that have outlived their usefulness, employing strategies that have lost effectiveness over time and haven’t been re-evaluated in years. The net result is a subservicing environment that costs the credit union too much time and effort while falling behind more competitive institutions and failing their members regarding speed and quality of service.
It’s time to master Subservicing 2.0, embracing contemporary strategies and technology that offer members faster, more efficient mortgage servicing while allowing the credit unions to operate at more cost-effective levels that can free up critical resources to help expand the institution’s service profile. Join industry veterans Chris Sabbe and Sabrina Dean-Bass from PHH Mortgage as they dive into the new strategies at work in the marketplace and some easy, practical steps you can follow to see if the Subservicing 2.0 movement is the right for your credit union.
Key discussion topics will include:
- Member Service – Are your member complaints rising? Is your in-house team or subservicer underperforming?
- Technology – What abilities do your members have to manage their loans? What data and tools do you have to manage your portfolio?
- Recapture – How do you leverage your servicing team or subservicer to retain “members for life?”
- Default – How well do you manage delinquencies, and how are you strategically mitigating losses?
- Economics – Are you overpaying to service your portfolio? Do you know your true cost of servicing?
